What Is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001:2018, "Occupational health and safety management systems — Requirements with guidance for use," was published by the International Organization for Standardization in March 2018. It formally superseded OHSAS 18001 in March 2021, when the three-year transition period for existing OHSAS-certified organizations closed.

The standard is built on the Annex SL "High Level Structure" (HLS) that ISO now uses across all its management-system standards.
